This week I’m taking you to Koh Samui! My favourite island in Thailand and the place you cannot miss if you want to discover a real dream vacation!
WHERE TO STAY
The have been without doubt the highlight of my trip in Thailand.
The started as a dream for the owner Robert, about 20 years ago, when he came from San Francisco to Koh Samui for holidays and fell in love with the place. He then bought some land and constructed a villa with his partner, little by little his dream vacation home grew to 14 paradisiac villas that we can now all enjoy. Located on top of a cliff, the Private Pool Villas offer the best panoramic ocean views to Lamai Beach, one of the most fabulous beaches in Koh Samui.
The owner, Robert takes care of every detail in the villas, he would even drive us himself to the beach. His super amazing staff offer you the most personalised service. The moment you arrive you are given a cell phone with all the numbers you need saved on it. The number for the reception, the number of the drivers, that take you around the area wherever you need, the beach, the supermarket, restaurants etc. the number of the room service. So anytime you need something you just use that cellphone to call, super practical !
I stayed at the Rose Villa. When we went in, it happened what they call the WOW effect! The villa is sooooo amazing we started to scream around while we were exploring all the areas! The Rose villa is an ocean view 3 bedroom grand pool villa with capacity for 6 adults. All the rooms in the villa have traditional Thai decor with all the modern amenities and have panoramic views to the coastline and other islands. It is a dream come true!
The villa is the perfect place to enjoy luxury and total privacy. I wouldn’t give 5 star, I would give 6 star to the service at Chill in your private pool during the day, eat on the terrace, enjoy the views, watch the sunrise, sunset and connect with nature in such a peaceful ambiance!
The are right next to the most amazing dream beach I saw in Thailand which is Cristal bay. The best place to relax and take some pics, the water is totally transparent and contrasts with the rocks spread around the beach, absolutely wonderful. Another fantastic beach is also by the villas, the Lamai Beach. In this beach is where I took my famous pic walking over a reclined palm tree ! Also the villas provide you with a beach bag, towels, and cold water bottles so that you take with you to the beach!
One of my favourite moments of the day is the breakfast at : waking up to pancakes, fresh fruits, juices, a selection of the best Thai dishes and many other delicacies that change every morning to surprise the guests. One day we had dim sum for breakfast, shrimp, pork.. one of the best I have ever tried!
For lunch we mainly ordered room service to the villa to enjoy our terrace, the best things we tried here were all the tropical fruit platters, their beef burger and the thai dishes, specially the spicy pork with rice and a fried egg!
Alsooo don’t forget to visit their spa and get a thai massage 
ROVITIPS:
The have the drivers shuttle service that drive you around during the day, I suggest you explore the areas famous beaches and at night you try the Chaweng market with thai food for dinner, also stay in Chaweng for a little party! You should head to the famous Ark beach bar for the fire show!
