This week I’m taking you to the perfect escape to relax in Koh Samui, the super luxury Mantra resort!!!
WHERE TO STAY:
Waking up with the best tropical views to the island of Koh Samui is something you might want to do for your next vacation, offers you a five star luxury stay on the hillside of Bo Phut village.
Located in the north of the island, the resort is very close to Fishermans village where you will find many restaurants and shops to entertain yourself! Plus the resort offers a free shuttle service every half an hour to move around the island. Some stops include Chaweng and the famous beaches around the area!
The rooms are spacious and recently renovated, with a modern wooden touch. I stayed at the love Ocen View Suite with a private terrace and of course the best views!! One of the things I liked most in the room is that they produce their own shampoo products from the famous charcoal in the island. So many beneficial properties on this Charcoalogy, for your hair, skin and you may also purchase the products to take home with you!
The has a spa where you can have a fabulous thai massage, however I want to recommend you their signature massage that I had here. The coconut milk signature massage of 120 minutes, pure heaven!!!! The best is that the coconut MILK , not oil, leaves the skin super soft and hydrated!
The also has a gym in case you want to work that bodyyyyyy! It’s important o stay in shape during the holidays amigos! (specially when there are bikini pics involved haha)
One of my favourite things about the is the infinity pool with the most amazing views to the bay, perfect place to relax, swim and take some amazing pics of course! Ask for a coconut and sip it while you tan to the best views on the island 🙂
The restaurant at the Mantra has been one of the highlights on my trip to Thailand. In the morning the buffet is fabulous. So much to choose from and super super healthy. A selection of fresh fruits, mango, watermelon, dragon fruit.. Pancakes, waffles, eggs any way you want.. And also chia seeds with yoghourt and granola! How I love it when you can find the healthy options in a breakfast buffet!
For lunch and dinner, here I recommend you to taste the Chefs set thai menu. There are two different kinds, and you must try both!!! For dessert do not forget to taste the mango sticky rice !! Super delicious!!!!
ROVITIPS:
On Friday evening go to Fishermans Village, the resort shuttle will take you there, as there is the famous Fishermans Market!! The whole village turns into a market and you can shop from the coolest sunglasses to souvenirs, clothes, and taste some more typical thai food!!!
